with the birth of their beautiful baby daughter
 
Ena
Ena,
a six month old female lion cub, was confiscated
from a French circus. She arrived safely at the
sanctuary at midnight on 24-06-2010 and was released
into her enclosure at first light the following
morning.
Ena
was kept in horrific conditions and was discovered
hidden underneath a circus horse trailer in a
wooden box (pictured below), where she had been
kept prisoner for most of her short life.

Woof Tour
at Winelands SPCA
Sadly 3rd June has been
and gone, but those lucky enough to meet Joanne
and Oscar, whether during the children's art competition
or the evening presentation, will not forget them.

Dear Christelle,
On
behalf of Oscar, his World Woof Tour and the thousands of pound hounds
that he was able to visit as part of his World Woof Tour, Thank YOU so
much for helping us to circle the planet to perfection!
We
visited 31 countries, visited over 65 organization on 5 continents and
in so doing traveled approximately 79038km (twice around the
circumference of the earth!) Best of all, and as a direct result of
your unbelievable assistance, we didn't have ONE yelp (problem) with
Oscar getting into or out of ANY of the visited countries along the
way. We owe all this to Animal Travel Services!
You and
your team, Christelle, deserve an Oscar for all your
incredible, professional, experienced work. A very big, fat, golden,
diamond infested Oscar!

Dear
Animal Travel Services………….
The
time had come for us to go
Dad
had got a transfer you know
I
was scared to be left here alone
When
Mom and Dad went to their new home
Mom
was clever and made a plan
To
get me there to Amsterdam
She
phoned a place that does these things
Animal
Travel, you supplied my wings
You
were so organized and so kind
You
saw to it that I wasn’t left behind
You
told my mom just what to do
All
was sorted before I flew

You
got me on my parent’s flight
It
was quite late at night
But
you looked after me until I went
In
your departure lounge, it was
time well spent

I
am now in Amsterdam
